Hosted by the same organizers (Screen Names: Justin-Time & Gargotron) who led the recent ground mining operations, a new cave mining expedition was launched on the 7th of October, 2955. The objective was to explore and survey multiple cave systems, studying the local flora and fauna and, most importantly, identifying valuable minable ores—with a focus on the rarer types.
Before the expedition could commence, the Ministry of Intelligence & Exploration (MIE) was tasked by the organizers with locating potential cave sites across the Stanton System. The MIE obliged, conducting extensive reconnaissance operations. Notably, Mr. Silas Ridgewell Thorne identified several promising cave systems on the moon of Magda.
On the day of the expedition, October 7th, the team departed from Everus Harbor aboard the USCS Erebus, a Carrack-class exploration vessel. Having learned from prior ground mining experiences, the organizers decided that a ship equipped with medical facilities would be a prudent choice—ensuring proper safety measures were in place for the entire crew.
Thankfully, no major incidents occurred during the mission—though one crewmember did experience a sudden and unexplained temporary blindness while seated in one of the command chairs on the upper bridge. The cause of the episode remains a mystery, but after the crewmember recovered, the expedition continued without further interruption.
Over the course of the mission, three cave systems on Magda were explored in detail.
Numerous flora samples were collected for further analysis, though fauna sightings were scarce—only the faint sounds of subterranean worms tunneling nearby hinted at the presence of life.
In terms of mineral yield, the caves proved moderately resource-rich, with notable deposits of Aphorite, Dolivine, and Hadanite successfully extracted and catalogued.

While the mineral findings were valuable, most participants agreed that the highlight of the expedition was the breathtaking scenery. The caves extended deep underground, transitioning from narrow tunnels into vast, cathedral-like caverns illuminated by natural crystal formations—an awe-inspiring sight for all who took part.
