A long run up
The final phase has begun. Amelia Boyd has finally been tracked down, and the Frontier Fighters now seem cornered. A lot of preparation has led up to this moment — the climax of a year-long campaign against these elusive enemies.
We all remember the days when the first incursions from the Slicers began in Stanton. Back then, every citizen had to choose a side — supporting Citizens for Prosperity, the Head Hunters, or the Frontier Fighters — in an effort to fight back against the unruly pirates threatening the citizens of Stanton.
As it turned out, it had all been a ruse. The Frontier Fighters had been the Slicers all along. It was a disastrous failure of intelligence — how could we not have known?
But we would not be fooled again this time.
Under Operation Starforge, the USC — alongside many private citizens — launched one of the largest intelligence-gathering operations in history. Hundreds of data pads were brought to the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) and Osiris Consulting. After careful analysis, ONI and Osiris were able to identify the Frontier Fighters’ regeneration facilities and key resource convoy routes.
The USC, through the Ministry of Security Services (MSS), launched strikes to destroy these regeneration sites and ambush dozens of convoys. Both operations were an incredible success, thanks to excellent intelligence and the bravery of the crews involved. The Frontier Fighters were finally backed into a corner — their regeneration capabilities crippled, their resources cut off.
The Final Showdown

At last, the Frontier Fighters would make their final stand, gathering their remaining ships and fleets around their leader, Amelia Boyd. Operation Starforge had entered its final phase, and ONI had pinpointed the locations where the last resistance would take place.
Two major missions were sent out by the USC — one under Director Farrister, and the other under Director Stiles — each commanding a fully crewed Idris for the final battles. Both missions began smoothly, as all crew members boarded and escort fighters docked aboard the capital ships. The Idrises departed in search of the stolen Polaris-class vessel on which Amelia Boyd and the Frontier Fighters were expected to make their last stand.
But the USC was not alone. Many independent citizens and organizations joined the fight, culminating in a massive space battle across the Stanton system — the final confrontation with the remnants of the Frontier Fighters.
Unexpected turns
As expected, the Frontier Fighters stood little chance. Though they fought fiercely, they were inevitably defeated. Battle after battle, they were pushed back and destroyed. Their end was near — Amelia Boyd’s capture or death seemed imminent.
Yet, to everyone’s surprise, after the Frontier Fighters were thought defeated, another Polaris — belonging to either a citizen group or an allied organization — suddenly turned its guns on Director Farrister’s Idris. Was it a tragic mistake? Or had that Polaris defected to the Frontier Fighters’ cause?
The latter seems possible, as Amelia Boyd’s death has yet to be confirmed. Perhaps she escaped aboard that second Polaris. Despite its fierce resistance, Director Farrister and his crew managed to beat it back and force it into retreat.
Battle after battle still rages across Stanton. We await the day Amelia Boyd’s death is finally confirmed — and the Frontier Fighters are, at long last, disbanded.
