Frontier Figther turned Frontier Hunter

The Frontier Fighters are now officially gone as an organisation in Stanton and Pyro. Their last organised forces were destroyed, together with their stolen Polaris. Their leader Amelia Boyd has also been captured and executed by the Headhunters. Perhaps some survived and will still continue their fight while others were taken prisoners and some may try and escape justice and return to their previous life’s.

We already discussed the possible origins and motivations of the Frontier fighters, in our Article, The Frontier Fighters – A Retrospective .Likely stemming from a group of initially just concerned or grieving Citizens who sought revenge for their lost ones, but while other more civilized alternatives presented themselves that group of peoples most likely got entrenched in their believes seeking full and total revenge with the destruction of all of Pyro. Yet it is far to easy to just label all those that fought for the Frontier Fighters as Fanatics. After all we all had the opportunity to support them initially, as the Advocacy made them into one of the viable factions to support in the fight for Pyro. I am sure many of our readers too may have done one or two missions, perhaps even many more in support of the frontier Fighters, before it was revealed that they were responsible for the Slicer attacks in Stanton. Even as we fought the Frontier Fighters in their last stand we could hear their last words, asking why we are fighting them, after all, all they wanted was to protect us from the gangs of Pyro, make Stanton and pyro safer. Even then they still believed in what they were doing.

One of these peoples is cc1creator, who like so many of us decided to head the call and fight for the Frontier Fighters in the initial stages of the fight for Pyro, before finding out who the Frontier Fighters really were and then turning into a Frontier Hunter himself. To understand why he made these choices, we invited him for an interview, explaining why he first joined the Frontier Fighters and why in the end he turned around to hunt them down.

Question 1 : What made you chose to support the Frontier fighters back in the days when the “Slicers” first attacked Stanton ?

At the time it made sense to join them. Pyro was chaotic and when I dealt with the slicers it felt right to join FF to take out the gang that attacked us. Citizens for prosperity were good on paper but despite me trying to help them they always saw me as an enemy. All cuz I couldn’t tell who was who when trying to kill anyone invading their territory. And headhunters is well… you know… The frontier fighters were the only military focused gang that felt more grounded and strategic focus to take out the criminals in Pyro. It made sense, you can’t negotiate with criminals.

Question 2 : While fighting the frontier Figthers did you ever question their methods? targets ?

At the time no, usually it was info destroy missions and derelict outposts sweep. But when I had to attack citizens of prosperity ships, they were usually Mercury ships, which I thought was because of the data but… They had too much food, medical, and agricultural supplies on their cargo for them to be data thieves. Honestly I had too much beef with CFP to even question things at the time… I didn’t know what was really happening at the time.

Question 3 : What made you turn and leave the Frontier Fighters? was it the revelation that they were the Slicers and responsible for the Stanton attacks?

The latter. I was cleaning up at a space station hideout, after swept the place to meet my quota I took a moment of rest in one of the vents… When I checked my message journals I was horrified to see what was sent to me by one of my teammates, (we both belong to an org that’s not part of the FFs), and a burning rage welled up in me.

Question 4 : What made you into a “Frontier Hunter” was it rage for the Frontier figthers betrayal? or also remorse for having fought with them?

It was both… You know me as the “Frontier Hunter”. They know me as the “Frontier REAPER”. It all came crashing down to me. These Lunatics sacrificed their own people to make Stanton attack pyro, and I fell for it hook line and sinker. And it made me realize that all those CFP data run scrubs were not data runs at all, they were essential cargo runners. Cargo that could’ve saved lives. I killed families thanks to these freaks, and what’s more? The leader doubled down on everything! She kept justifying everything! This didn’t seem like a militant group anymore this felt like a straight up cult now. And that Bbeeph Boyd kept trying to guilt trip me on everything. I hate liars, and I especially hate being played by one. So I made sure I payed them back tenfold. I used my best modified ships to hunt down their ships, and my best gear to come at them from afar silently, or used the newest hard hitting weapons like the pulverizor to slaughter them at outposts, bunkers, and stations…. I uh… Admittedly may have gone too far in a few places. I doubt you would want me to describe how the aftermaths looked. Bloody and gory would be an understatement.

Question 5 : Any further comments? regrets, experiences?

Take care and keep an eye out for those frontier fbeepks. And do some digging on asd. It’s possible that asd been doing dealings with Frontier fighters during the whole time. That’s why they were so confident about their power. See you all in nyx. And always think about the right side you’re working on. Stay safe.

We thank cc1creator again for participating in this Interview. We are sure many of you would identify with him, as many of us were also trapped into the Frontier Fighters easy promises of quick retaliation to solve all the issues plaguing Pyro. Alas things are not as easy, as pyro is a very dangerous and complicated System. If you want to learn more about Pyro we recommend you read our Article the difficult question of what to do with Pyro next, were we delve into the History of the system, get to know the real residents and peoples of Pyro and who the power brokers are currently controlling the system.

The United Space Confederation (USC) was conceived as an organization that would offer something for everyone, set in an environment that maintained fun game play experiences as the top priority. In keeping with the very high standards that Star Citizen has already set, the founders of the USC set out to create an in-game faction that would integrate well into the established universe, while maintaining its own style and theme as well as allowing its Citizens the freedom to immerse themselves in the game however they wished.
