On March 8th, 2956, members of the United Space Confederation (USC) organised a newcomers event — a meet-and-greet for new Resident Visa holders to get acquainted with each other, veteran Citizens, and USC officials. Attendees had the chance to ask questions while exploring various locations together across the Stanton system, discovering hidden spots, tackling an unexpected engineering crisis mid-flight, and building a stronger sense of community within the organisation. The expedition was led by Director Jichael Mackson aboard the USCS Astraios, bringing together recruits and veteran citizens alike for a journey that showcased the cooperative spirit the USC is known… Read more →

Operation Pirate’s Prize Hunt On the 21st of February 2956, a special event was launched by Citizen Sovi_Reign, a bold and unconventional scraping and salvaging operation, venturing into one of the most dangerous and active regions of the Pyro system. Traditionally, salvagers operate in safer regions or accept recovery contracts to retrieve ships from unfortunate pilots. However, these contracts often yield modest returns, and random finds in open space are often too rare. The solution was straightforward: go where wrecks are guaranteed to appear, like High-traffic conflict zones, which always attract heavily armoured ships and frequent engagements. The Executive Hangars… Read more →

The year 2956 has not begun well for the already weakened People’s Alliance of Levski. For years—indeed, for decades—the Alliance has struggled with dwindling resources and the constant pressure of Vanduul incursions along the borders of the Nyx system. Its infrastructure has been aging, its population fluctuating, and its political influence gradually eroding. And now, on top of all these long-standing challenges, a full-blown epidemic has erupted, killing countless citizens and placing even greater strain on the fragile foundations of the People’s Alliance. In times of crisis, fear spreads quickly. When societies are destabilized, people often lash out, searching desperately… Read more →

A retired operator’s opinion piece recorded by Starlit Drifter This question has beeen posed by USC leadership, brought to the table by the reopening of the Nyx gateway and the Confederation re-contacting Levski, as well as various recent events leading to the derelict asteroid requiring concerted effort from both the UEE and USC to keep it alive. Whilst I am fully commited to helping those in need whenever they require so, regardless of anything that has to do with the people I’m helping, the discussion revolving any sort of alliance with the former mining asteroid has brought a severe feeling… Read more →

February kicked off a new round of debates within the United Space Confederation’s Senate. This time, the Chancellor brought forward a proposal whether the USC should formally ally itself with the People’s Alliance of Levski. It is a bold step—one carrying far-reaching implications. The Chancellor framed the proposal not merely as a single diplomatic decision, but as a defining moment that could shape the USC’s future approach to alliances with other organizations across the known systems. So what are the potential rewards—and the possible consequences—of such an alliance? What doubts, fears, and hopes currently occupy the minds of USC citizens… Read more →

The new year began with four significant constitutional votes within the United Space Confederation (USC), as the Chancellor initiated another round of scheduled constitutional reviews. These periodic revisions are nothing unusual—in fact, they are a long-standing practice intended to keep the USC’s governing framework aligned with evolving realities across the verse. Any constitutional amendment requires a formidable 75% approval threshold in the Senate, ensuring that only proposals with overwhelming support are adopted. This year’s voting cycle tested that threshold in multiple ways, sparking both consensus and controversy among Citizens and lawmakers alike. The Proposals Proposal One — Cabinet and Prime… Read more →

Hello Citizens and welcome back. When we first heard about the RSI Hermes—a variant of the already established RSI Apollo design—many people were skeptical about its purpose and utility. After all, the Apollo chassis didn’t seem particularly suited to cargo hauling. Even before we got our first look at the new RSI ship, plenty assumed the Hermes would be just another RSI cash grab. After the first leaked images and later public advertisements, the criticism didn’t stop. “Dead on Arrival” became the common mantra, and “RSI Herpes” was already a widely used nickname before anyone had even stepped inside the… Read more →

Stolen USC Data Successfully Recovered Intro Through Operation Padua Redemption, the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) successfully recovered lost data containing vital information on several sleeper agents and cells across Nyx, Pyro, and Stanton. The operation proved to be a significant challenge, involving extensive investigation and decryption, as well as combat and even a high-stakes chase. Prelude It all began in the aftermath of the Ambush at the Nyx Gateway on November 30th, 2955. An MIE Expeditionary Fleet, accompanied by ONI agents and assets—including Director Mackson’s ship, the USCS Astraios—was en route to explore the Nyx system and deploy ONI… Read more →

Calling Up a New Operation After quite some time, the USC—under the guidance of the Ministry of Security Services (MSS)—launched a new large-scale operation, returning to the site of Hathor to re-activate the mining laser and access valuable, urgently needed ores. It is not the first time the USC has organized an expedition to Hathor, and it certainly will not be the last. The rare materials found there—critical for trading, manufacturing, and infrastructure—can only be obtained using the massive mining laser installation. If activating the laser and extracting resources were simple, Hathor would likely already host a permanent USC presence.… Read more →

Origin 890 Jump New Year’s Cruise On the 1st of January 2956, we were treated to a New Year’s cruise aboard an Origin 890 Jump—a simple get-together to celebrate the beginning of a new year. The ship was staffed with several dedicated crew members, piloting and managing the vessel, while the majority onboard could simply enjoy being guests on a leisurely journey across the Stanton system. At first glance, it sounds almost too simple. There was no grand objective, no cargo to haul, no salvage to recover, no enemy to fight. No covert mission, no time pressure. Just a cruise—flying… Read more →
